Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before proceeding with ordering from MyCozyDormRoom. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and MyCozyDormRoom. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms.
2. Rental Agreement
a. By placing an order through the MyCozyDormRoom website, you agree to enter into a rental agreement with MyCozyDormRoom for the specified products.
b. For orders placed during the 1st semester billing period (August – December), your rental agreement will automatically renew for the 2nd semester billing period (January – June) unless you have elected to cancel by the December 31st deadline.
c. To cancel the automatic renewal, you must notify MyCozyDormRoom in writing by email at mycozydormroom@gmail.com by the December 31st deadline. Failure to cancel by this date will result in the automatic renewal of the rental agreement for the next semester billing period.
d. If you wish to keep the product for the 2nd semester billing(January – June) no need to contact us as if you have not elected to cancel by the deadline, you will automatically renew the agreement and be sent an invoice for the semester fees minus the security deposit if you paid it during the first billing period. The invoice will include details about the fees and the due date for payment.
e. The security deposit is non-refundable and covers accidental damages and normal wear and tear. It also covers the cleaning of the item at the end of the rental agreement. The item will be assessed upon both pick-up and delivery.
f. If the rented item stops working while in your possession, please reach out to MyCozyDormRoom by email at mycozydormroom@gmail.com to initiate the replacement process. We will provide instructions at the time of contact.
g. If the rented item is lost or stolen while in your possession, you must reach out to us immediately by email at mycozydormroom@gmail.com. Additional charges may apply. We may request additional information, such as official reports, to assist in the assessment of the situation.
3. Eligibility
a. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Website and enter into a rental agreement. By using the Website, you confirm that you meet this eligibility requirement.
4. Rental Process
a. The Website provides information about our available rental products. You can place an order by selecting the desired products, rental duration, and completing the checkout process.
b. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability and rental duration.
5. Rental Period
a. MyCozyDormRoom has a two semester rental period from August – December and January to June. If a product is rented during the first semester billing, the rental agreement automatically renews on January 1st unless cancellation initiated. See rental agreement.
6. Fees and Payments
a. You agree to pay all applicable rental fees, taxes, and any other charges associated with your order.
b. Payment methods accepted are as indicated on the Website.
c. All fees and charges are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
7. Product Condition and Care
a. Your security deposit covers any accidental damages to the product. You are responsible for the proper care and use of the rented products during the rental period. Any damage resulting from negligence, improper handling, or misuse of the products may result in additional charges.
b. Detailed care instructions for the rented products will be provided with the item. Please adhere to these guidelines to ensure the products remain in good condition throughout the rental period.
8. Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges

b. We reserve the sole and discretionary right to approve or deny any refund or exchange request. Returns and exchanges will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
In the event MyCozyDormRoom approves an exchange, you will be invoiced for the balance if the replacement product costs more than the original item. The balance must be paid prior to delivering exchanged product. If the exchanged product is of lesser value than the original product, MyCozyDormRoom will determine whether a credit will be applied to your account or a refund will be initiated.
c. Upon approval of a refund, we reserve the right to deduct any processing fees incurred during the original purchase from the refunded amount. The processing fees cover administrative costs, transaction charges, and related expenses associated with the initial transaction.
9. Privacy

10. Intellectual Property
